As you scan your object, see the 3D replica being built in real time on Leo’s touch panel screen. Rotate the 3D model, check if you have captured all areas, and fill in any parts you may have missed. The Artec Leo has a working distance from 0.35m – 1.2m (where as the EVA was 0.4m-1m and the Space Spider 0.2m-0.3m), so effectively combines the scanning area of the EVA and Spider. As with all Artec 3D scanners, the applications are wide and far-reaching, including industrial manufacture and quality control, healthcare, forensics, VR and e-commerce.
